- CU Boulder is hosting its sixth annual Health and Wellness Summit Sept. 13–14. Staff, faculty and graduate students are invited to submit proposals to present at the summit, due June 30.
- Provost Russell Moore and Tiffany Beechy, the Boulder Faculty Assembly outgoing chair, have accepted the Faculty Salary Procedures Working Group final report submitted on May 4.
- A CU Boulder faculty member has been recognized with a national excellence in teaching award from a leading group for professional, continuing and online education.
- The City of Boulder Landmarks Board recognized CU Boulder’s 1135 Broadway building, which now houses the Renée Crown Wellness Institute, with a project award.
- The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program is inviting the campus and broader community to explore the diverse selections of art and scholarship showcased in its student-run publications. The program also encourages students to submit work for future issues.
- Ahead of preservation efforts for Old Main, the CU Heritage Center, which is housed on the third floor of Old Main, will close on June 1 for the relocation of artifacts. The anticipated re-opening of the Heritage Center is slated for 2026, the university’s sesquicentennial year.

- CU Boulder conferred more than 9,700 degrees on May 11 during a damp yet joyous commencement ceremony at Folsom Field in front of an estimated 22,000 family members and friends.Â
- Chancellor Philip DiStefano announced a national search for an associate vice chancellor of Native American affairs, a newly created position that will work with CU Boulder and tribal communities across Colorado to collaboratively address related issues.
- The University of Colorado Law School is proud to announce Margot Kaminski, associate professor of law and director of the Privacy Initiative at the Silicon Flatirons Center, has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar for 2023–24.
