- Experimental filmmakers Ken and Flo Jacobs donated written materials from their multi-decade career in New York’s avant-garde and experimental film community to the University Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive Collections.
- CU Boulder announced a major expansion of its CU Promise program, doubling the number of Colorado resident students with significant financial need who are eligible for free tuition and fees for the 2023–24 academic year.
- An expanded Hill Ambassador Program will feature full-time ambassadors providing a year-round presence that focuses on clean and safe initiatives, as well as hospitality services for both businesses and visitors on the Hill.
- CU Boulder‘s Sexual Misconduct Task Force is providing updates based on the 2021 Sexual Misconduct Survey and also is on track to present a proposal by late summer.
- The 2023 Research & Innovation Seed Grants, awarded by CU Boulder's Research & Innovation Office and the Office of the Provost, are funding 25 new projects for up to $75,000 each.

- The CU Board of Regents recently announced the latest slate of recipients of honorary degrees, distinguished service medals and university medals. The CU Boulder affiliates—Henry and Leslie Eaton, Barbara Grogan, Allan McMurray and Ginger Ramsey—will be part of a private ceremony on May 10. In addition, Ambassador David Bolen was posthumously honored with the Chancellor's Impact Award.
