Communications and Engagement Support
Rebranding support
The communications and engagement team has a library of resources to help faculty and staff manage the transition as the college becomes CMDI. Here are some steps community members can take to help amid the rollout of the new college identity.Ìý
- Order .
- Update personal social media to reflect the new college name (and department name, if applicable). This may include, for instance, any mention of the college on your LinkedIn.
- Update newsletter templates for departmental communications you/your team manage. Updated logos are available from the communications team.
- Update center/lab/research websites you manage outside of the colorado.edu domain. (This is you if your URL ends in .org, for example. Contact the communications team if you manage such a site and have not received guidance on how to do so.) However, most Colorado pages will be updated by the communications team in collaboration with the owners of those pages.
- Work with students to update organizational social media accounts and websites (i.e., campus publications, groups like TEDxCU, etc.).
How to engage with us
A few key things to keep in mind when working with the communications team:
TimingÌý
ÌýFour to six weeks’ notice is requested for most projects. (For events, which are more complex, four months’ notice is requested.)Ìý
We understand that last-second opportunities may arise; we will attempt to support late requests but priority will be given to projects already in the queue.Ìý
DetailÌý
ÌýPlease provide as much detail as possible when filling out the project request form.Ìý
This ensures more efficient kickoff meetings and allows us to more quickly meet the project deadline.
Budget
ÌýBe prepared to discuss budget needs and speedtype(s) when kicking off the project.Ìý
Depending on the project, costs may include printing, mailing/distribution, shipping, and so on.
