Clinics
As part of its educational mission, the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience houses three clinics which are designed to offer evidence-based assessment and treatment services. ÌýOur clinical PhD students and their faculty supervisors are involved in providing care in each of the clinics. Specifically, the clinics are as follows:
The Raimy Clinic offers affordable, evidence-based psychotherapy services to students, faculty and staff at CU Boulder, and to individuals from the community. Therapists at Raimy treat a range of disorders, including anxiety, depression and other areas of distress, but do not offer crisis services.
The Attention, Behavior, and Learning (ABL) Clinic is a training clinic at CU Boulder providing affordable, comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents in Boulder and the surrounding communities. We specialize in the evaluation of learning and attentional needs, as well as other cognitive, emotional, and behavioral difficulties or differences. Our goal is to understand each child’s needs and strengths, as well as those of their family, in order to develop strategies and recommendations for helping the children successfully move forward in school and life.
We offer a limited number of scholarship slots to help families regardless of financial need.
The CU PATH Clinic offers assessment for older adolescents and adults (ages 16 and over). We currently offer evidence-based evaluations for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and learning disabilities (scheduling is currently on hold for evaluations of cognitive problems related to concussions/brain injuries, age-related cognitive or other neuropsychological changes). Assessments are administered by Clinical Psychology PhD graduate students supervised by licensed doctoral-level clinician-scientists.
