PolarisÌýElectro-Optics Inc. is a CU BoulderÌýstartupÌýthat uses a ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal platform (FenGlass(tm)) to deliver the highest-speed, most energy-efficient integrated photonics products for applications in communications and computing. Polaris Electro-OpticsÌýInc. was co-founded by Noel Clark (CU Boulder Physics), (CU Boulder Physics), and Ìý(CU Boulder Physics), together with a former student in their lab, , CTOÌýand . Polaris closed a $3 millionÌýseed financing round in 2023 and closed a $10 million Series A round in 2025.
