Although we experience biology daily, many struggle to see the connection. This can lead to low science literacy and hurt society as people either choose not to engage with major science issues, like climate change or public health, or fall victim to competing predatory information. So, what do we do?

Simu Liu, best known for his role in Marvel Studio’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” will speak on campus at 7 p.m. Feb. 23. Liu is hosted by the student-run Distinguished Speakers Board and Cultural Events Board. 

Free and open to the public, watch TED-style presentations on a variety of research topics by CU Boulder graduate students. The competitors will each describe their research in three minutes in front of a panel of judges and a live Zoom audience. The audience will vote for the winner of the people's choice award.
