In just the last few weeks, Daniel Knowles co-founded GyftCO. The company connects local businesses with the larger community as an outlet for selling e-gift cards. Customers can pre-purchase and redeem the gift cards as stores reopen.

Class of 2020 honored at all-virtual commencement, first in CU Boulder history
CU Boulder marked its first-ever virtual commencement by honoring members of what Chancellor DiStefano called “the next greatest generation.” Resilience was the theme of the day as the university conferred more than 9,000 undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Class of 2020: Therese Gardner
After exploring theater, anthropology and ethnic studies as majors during her freshman year, it was Therese Gardner’s love of TED Talks––and her eventual involvement with TEDxCU––that set her on a path toward earning her bachelor’s degree in communication.
Class of 2020: Daniel Wilson
Daniel Wilson's interest in the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking started early in life. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in cinema studies with an emphasis onfilm production, he hopes to take those interests into the world of cinematography while not forgetting his Colorado roots.

CU Boulder participated in the state's day of remembrance on Friday, May 15, to honor the Coloradans lost to COVID-19. It was also Peace Officers Memorial Day. A moment of silence was held at 7 p.m.
