SA Student Video & Social Content Creator
The Student Affairs Communication Team provides marketing and communication for a variety of campus departments within the Division of Student Affairs. As a Student Affairs Student Video & Social Content Creator, you will have the opportunity to develop social media content on behalf of CU Boulder while working in a fun and collaborative team environment. Through this position you will gain practical marketing and communication skills and have an opportunity to develop creative communication projects.
Responsibilities include assisting full-time staff with conceptualizing video content, independent and collaborative video capture, creative brainstorming and editing.

- Pay Rate: $15/hour
- Schedule: 10-15 hours/week
Must be enrolled for a minimum of 3 credit hours

Work schedule
- 10-15 hours per week. Flexible scheduling based on class schedule. Hours must be completed during the standard business day (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
- A consistent weekday work schedule will be established based on available hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with occasional coverage on nights or weekends depending on timing of student events and programming
Required skills
- Must be a current CU Boulder student in good academic and judicial standing.Â
- Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
- Must take initiative, follow instructions, be flexible, punctual and open to feedback.
- Audio and visual capture.
- Experience using social media platforms and features on a regular basis, especially Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience filming and editing short videos, preferably on a smartphone camera.
Preferred skills
- Story-telling or story board development.
- Moderate knowledge of Adobe Rush, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Spark and/or other photo or video editing applications.
- Pursuing a degree in communications, digital media, film, marketing, advertising, journalism, or closely related field.
