Scuba

- All diving equipment is provided
- Bring a swimsuit, T-shirt, socks for the pool, plus paper and a pen
- You’ll need to pass a swim test (200 yards, no doggy paddle!) either at orientation or on the first day of class
- Saturday, Feb. 21 | 10-11:30 a.m.
- We will hold an optional orientation session for students in all course sections. SCUBA instructors will give an orientation to the SCUBA course, answer any questions and conduct the required swim test. All SCUBA students will have to successfully complete a swim test either at orientation or on the first date of your course.
- Must be a Rec Center member
- Basic swimming skills required
- Medical history form required
- If you have epilepsy or asthma, a physician’s note is needed to participate
Classes will meet at the Outdoor Pursuits classroom to start each day.
