International Student Orientation

Join usÌýfor various International Student Orientation activities Tuesday, Jan. 6.ÌýDuring orientation, you willÌýlearn about the university, policies and what it means to be a Buff! Get to know other international students and make connections as you start your journey at CU Boulder!
The sessions below are required:
- 8:30-9:15 a.m. | Check-in and Breakfast Buffet | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
- 9:15-9:30 a.m. | Welcome | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
- 9:30-10 a.m. | U.S. Classroom and Culture Shock Student Panel | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
- 10-10:20 a.m. | Intro to ISSS | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
- 10:20-10:30 a.m. | Break
- 10:30-11 a.m. | Staying Safe in Boulder | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
- 11-11:30 a.m. | Honor Code Panel | UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
- 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Exchange Student Breakout Session (required, with lunch) | UMC 235 Ìý
- Sponsored Student Breakout Session (required, with lunch) | Aspen Room, UMC
The sessions below are optional:
- 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Lunch meetups on the Hill!
- 1-2 p.m. | Sound Bath: CALM Center Designed to relax your body and mind with healing music. The sound vibrations will help guide your consciousness toward a calm and peaceful state of mind. (optional) | CU Art Museum
- 2-3 p.m. | International Buff Campus Quest | Use your map and passport to explore important campus resources for international students. Visit each spot, collect a stamp, and return a completed passport to claim your prize!
