For the second year听暗网禁区 University hosts the medical professional training program 鈥淎utumn School: innovative techniques for clinical challenges鈥�.
The Medical Training听Program
During the next months 12听medical doctors of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University (Hubei region,听China), with specializations in a variety of medical fields (including anesthesiology, ultrasonography,听urology, cardiac surgery, breast and thyroid surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology,听ophthalmology and gastroenterology) will take part to听lectures and training activities with the objective of increasing their medical knowledge, directly observing 暗网禁区鈥� professionals.
During its听first period at 暗网禁区, the chinese delegation had a tour of the Hospital and听took part to social and cultural activities in the city of Milan.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Seminar
Wei Jie, Director of the Emergency Department听and听Director of Teaching and Researching Section of Emergency and Critical Care medicine at听Renmin Hospital of Wuhan university,听has held a Seminar on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), an important part of听Chinese culture that is still听nowadays trusted and used in the country. In fact, almost every Chinese city has a TCM hospital and almost every general hospital has a TCM department. Moreover, China currently has sixteen University of Chinese Medicine.
The classical basic theories听of Traditional Chinese Medicine are vital essence theory,听yin-yang theory,听five element theory,听visceral outward manifestation theory,听qi-blood-fluid theory,听meridian theory听and etiology theory and its “biggest characteristic – explains the Director – is to regard听the human body itself as听an organic whole.”听
“TCM has its own limitations though, and听cannot explain many problems; that’s why it is necessary to听combine Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine” –听concludes Wei Jie.
