Ha quindi ampliato la propria formazione in <strong>Biochimica<\/strong> e <strong>Biofisica<\/strong> presso la Faculty of Life Sciences, <strong>University of Manchester<\/strong> (Manchester, UK), sotto la supervisione del prof. Anthony J Day (2006-2009). Durante il percorso di dottorato e, successivamente, post-dottorato, ha svolto attivit\u00e0 di ricerca e di studio presso il Leiden University Medical Center (Leiden, The Netherlands; 2005) e la Medical Research Council (MRC) Immunochemistry Unit, University of Oxford (Oxford, UK; 2006). E\u2019 stato destinatario di <strong>fellowships<\/strong> <strong>FIRC<\/strong> (Fondazione Italiana per la Ricerca sul Cancro; 2006-2007), <strong>FHR<\/strong> (Fondazione °µÍø½ûÇø per la Ricerca; 2007), <strong>MRC<\/strong> (2008-2009), <strong>SEMM<\/strong> (European School of Molecular Medicine; 2009-2011) ed <strong>INNOCHEM<\/strong> (Innovative Chemokine-based Therapeutic Strategies for Autoimmunity and Chronic Inflammation; 2010). Recentemente, ha partecipato al Corso di Perfezionamento in \u201c<strong>Epidemiology for Clinical Research<\/strong>\u201d presso °µÍø½ûÇø University (2018). Dal 2009 \u00e8 <strong>Ricercatore<\/strong> presso il <strong>Laboratorio di Immunofarmacologia<\/strong> dell\u2019Istituto Clinico °µÍø½ûÇø, diretto dalla dott.sa Barbara Bottazzi. E\u2019 stato <strong>Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato<\/strong><strong> in Scienze Tecniche di Medicina di Laboratorio<\/strong> (MED\/46) presso l\u2019<strong>Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Milano<\/strong>. \u00c8 autore di 29 pubblicazioni <em>in extenso<\/em> indicizzate in Pubmed, 2 voci enciclopediche ed 1 capitolo in libro, con impact factor medio superiore a 7,5 ed h-index di 20 (Scopus) e 22 (Google Scholar). E\u2019 co-inventore di 2 brevetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\wp-block-paragraph\><strong>Didattica<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\wp-block-paragraph\>Dal 2016 il dott. Inforzato svolge attivit\u00e0 didattica nell\u2019ambito del corso di Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia di °µÍø½ûÇø University (fino al 2017 sulla base di accordi convenzionali con l\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Milano, presso cui \u00e8 stato Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato, e dal 2018 quale membro della Faculty di °µÍø½ûÇø University), erogando i seguenti insegnamenti:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\wp-block-list\>\n<li><strong>Biochimica<\/strong> (5 CFU) &#8211; Modulo del corso integrato \u201c<strong>The cell: molecules and processes<\/strong>\u201d (primo anno). In questo modulo vengono presentati gli aspetti principali della biochimica metabolica. Enfasi \u00e8 posta sui meccanismi molecolari che regolano i flussi metabolici intra- ed inter-organo in relazione alla domanda energetica dell\u2019organismo, quale network dinamico di processi biochimici fondamentali.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Biochimica<\/strong> (2 CFU) &#8211; Modulo del corso integrato \u201c<strong>Body at Work 1<\/strong>\u201d (secondo anno). In questo modulo vengono illustrati i processi che sostengono lo sviluppo e la specializzazione di tessuti ed organi, nonch\u00e9 la risposta a stimoli esterni e l\u2019adattamento. Rilievo \u00e8 dato ai meccanismi biochimici alla base della neurotrasmissione, del rimodellamento della matrice extracellulare e del citoscheletro, e delle peculiarit\u00e0 metaboliche di osso, cervello e muscolo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\wp-block-paragraph\>Ad integrazione ed ampliamento della propria offerta formativa, il dott. Inforzato coordina attivit\u00e0 elettive di tipo seminariale (Biochimica della Nutrizione e Sindrome Metabolica) e laboratoriale (Internati su progetti di ricerca <em>ad-hoc<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\wp-block-paragraph\><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\wp-block-hunimed-tabs-content-tab tabs-content-tab\><div class=\tab-item\ data-tab-title=\Ricerca\><div class=\tab-header\><button class=\tab-nav\ role=\tab\ aria-selected=\false\><span class=\tab-title\>Ricerca<\/span><\/button><\/div><div class=\tab-content\ role=\tabpanel\ aria-hidden=\true\>\n<p class=\wp-block-paragraph\>L\u2019attivit\u00e0 scientifica del dott. Antonio Inforzato \u00e8 concentrata sullo <strong>studio della relazione struttura\/funzione di componenti solubili dell\u2019immunit\u00e0 innata in patologie infettive e degenerative, e nell\u2019omeostasi tissutale<\/strong>. Particolare attenzione in tal senso \u00e8 rivolta alla pentrassina lunga <strong>PTX3<\/strong>, quale <strong>paradigma della risposta umorale innata<\/strong>, per cui il dott.
