for the statewide Colorado Sustainability Challenge (CSC) Finals on Sunday, Oct. 12 and see top teams from Colorado Front Range colleges and universities compete for up to $25,000 in prizes andÌýthe chance to make their mark on Colorado’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser will kick off the Finals at 6 p.m. with opening remarks, followed by teams pitching their ideas to the judging panel. Awards include Best Technology, 1000 Gretas and four Bounty Prizes. The audience participates too—you'll get to vote live to help choose the $1,000 Audience Choice Award!
The CSC Finals are the culmination of theÌý336-hour challenge, where student teams fromÌýCU Boulder, Colorado School of Mines, CSU College of Business, University of Denver, Front Range Community College, Regis University and the University of Colorado Denver are collaborating, prototyping and pitching their ideas for a more sustainable future.

The statewide Colorado Sustainability Challenge (CSC) is a two-week hackathon-style event designed for anyone passionate about solving problems, teaming up on an idea and having fun in the process of building a solution to impact sustainability.ÌýHosted by CU Boulder’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, Leeds School of Business and the Environmental Center, this hybrid event is open to students, faculty and staff at all Colorado Front Range colleges and universities.ÌýParticipants come from all academic disciplines—ranging from the Humanities to STEM—and have a shot at winning a share of $25,000!
