Here is how Parking has agreed to handle FacMan vehicles on sidewalks:

Vehicles that need to load/unload on the sidewalk will need to have their flashers on and will need to relocate to a service space when they are done.
Do not block ADA access, Fire Lanes, around blind corners, or other pathways.
We will treat the sidewalk where they are parked as a 15-minute loading zone.
Enforcement will follow the normal chalking and ticketing procedure when they find these vehicles.
Drivers do not need to contact Customer Service for their 15 minute load/unload.
If you do receive a ticket while following the procedures above, please contact Parking at 303-735-PARK (7275) or Parking@colorado.edu and ask them to review your case.
This only applies to CU FacMan logo'd vehicles. Contractors need to continue to get sidewalk access approval through their FacMan project manager who will then coordinate with Kate in Parking.

A step-by-step process for how to order FM workwear in AiM is coming soon. In the meantime, view the FM workwear catalog.

Stock workwear: Stock items (shown in the FM workwear catalog) are kept in stock at FM Stores and are typically available for next business day delivery on campus.

To order stock items, please log into AiM and submit a Stock Part Request.
All stock items are branded with the Facilities Management logo.

Non-stock/Non-Catalog items: Additional "non-stock" items (such as jackets and hoodies shown in the FM workwear catalog) are available to order on a monthly basis.

To order non-stock items, please log into AiM and submit an Other Part (Non-stock/Non-catalog) part request.
Please note that we won’t be able to return, exchange or swap out the items you order, so it’s very important that you know your proper sizes and styles.
Non-stock workwear requests from all of our Facilities Management units will be bundled together and submitted once per month on the last day of the month and should arrive at FM Stores by the end of the following month.
All non-stock items will be branded with the Facilities Management logo.
Requests for items with a different (unit-specific) logo must reach a minimum order threshold and cannot be submitted via AiM. Please reach out to Casey Sanders at FM Stores to discuss your unit's specialty workwear needs.

Facilities Management Work Wear Program FAQs

I am an I&R employee. Do I need to wear workwear while at work on campus?

Some I&R employees, based on the requirements of their job duties, are issued daily workwear. This new workwear will replace the old tan shirts.
Some I&R employees wear other personal protective equipment like gloves, and should follow the guidelines and requirements of their individual departments.
Student employees and temporary employees in Facilities Operations (CBS and Outdoor Services) will be provided with between one to five short sleeve or long sleeve t-shirts (depending on their work schedule and hours).
Full time employees, student employees and temporary employees in PD&C, I&R Business Services and I&R Human Resources do not qualify for the workwear program at this time.

Will the university provide workwear for employees to use while working on campus?

Distribution of workwear will be handled by FM Stores. Supervisors whose employees need new or replacement workwear are asked to submit requests via AiM.
Contractors performing work on campus should wear their own company branded workwear unless other arrangements are made.

Do I need to wear my workwear at all times while at work?

Employees should wear workwear in public and common areas of campus spaces. Discretion can be used while working on tasks that require specialty PPE and gear.

What is the timeline for ordering?

Can I order items with a different/unit specific logo on them?

All workwear items will come screen-printed or embroidered with the standard CU Boulder Facilities Management logo.

What should I do with my old (khaki/tan) FM workwear?

Old versions of workwear (tan/khaki shirts) and anything that is worn out or torn should be returned to your supervisor. Employees who leave the university should turn in their workwear to their supervisor on their last day of work. Supervisors should send old workwear to FM Stores for cloth recycling.

There is an app available for your work phone which syncs to the I&R phone list on SharePoint. On your work phone, open the app catalog and search for "PowerApps". Download PowerApps and sign in with your identikey@colorado.edu email address and identikey password. Once you are signed in, search for the app named "I&R Phone Directory." Tapping on that will bring you to the phone list which syncs directly with our I&R Phone List on Sharepoint. This app can also be downloaded to your personal cell phone or tablet too, it works on any smart device.

It is time to check our email signatures. Adding contact information to your email signature on new emails and replies allows your contacts to easily get in touch with you. Following a few guidelines will ensure that all signatures are in line with university branding standards and are ADA compliant. Consistent email signatures deliver a visually coherent look across university departments and offices.

Please follow the instructions below to check (and amend if necessary) your email signature. Following these instructions will guarantee that all signatures are in line with University branding standards and are ADA compliant. Using the University of Colorado logo (and other logos) in your email signature is not recommended.

Directions to add/replace your email signature using Outlook on a PC:

Copy the signature template below.
Amend the template to include your own name, title, phone number, cell phone
Log into your email account by clicking ‘file’ in the upper left of your Outlook email account
Click ‘options’ in the left blue sidebar
Select ‘mail’ tab on the left
Click ‘signatures’ (third button on the right)
Select your current signature. New employees will need to create a new signature
Paste the entire signature
After pasting, ensure the signature is using font Aptos, size 11.
Verify that you have your signature set for both ‘new messages’ and ‘replies/forwards’
If you log into O365 to manage your email or have a CU issued-mobile phone, you will need to update your signature from those devices as well

Mobile numbers for CU Alerts are pulled from your employee portal information. It is wise to update your mailing address, mobile numbers and phone types in the portal. This will also ensure you receive your W2 in January!

Career Services has a photo booth named Iris that’s available to undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff in need of a high-quality professional photo for a LinkedIn or other professional networking platform. Iris is located in the lobby of Career Services, S440 in the C4C, and is available during business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Iris can be controlled from your smartphone by scanning a QR code. It will take three shots while offering advice on how to pose for an effective professional portrait. You can do some limited retouching on the Iris screen with the photo booth’s software or more retouching on your own device with any photo manipulation program after you receive the files via email.
