Valerie is an Employer Relations Specialist for campus Career Services who supports employers in STEM industries. She collaborates closely with the Engineering Career Hub and CU Engineering. She cultivates strong employer partnerships to facilitate engagement for on-campus recruitment and increase job and internship opportunities for engineering students.Ìý

As a Colorado native, Valerie loves being in the mountains! She also enjoys attending concerts, trying new restaurants, reading, traveling, volunteering at local secondary schools, and spending time with her family and friends.

Valerie earned her B.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus while living in Germany. Her experience in higher education includes recruitment of faculty and staff, admissions, student recruitment and employer engagement.
